About the project

When complete, the Greenstock Pretreatment Facility (GPF) project will be a world-class pretreatment facility for pretreating sustainable feedstocks such as animal fats (AF) and used cooking oil (UCO). After the process, the feedstock is ready for direct conversion into high-quality renewable fuels like HVO/HEFA, SAF, and co-processing derivates. The independent low-emission facility will convert 400.000 metric tonnes of waste and bio residues into renewable feedstocks annually.

Our vision for the future is one in which renewable fuels are globally available, helping to reduce carbon emissions and making positive contributions towards mitigating climate change. GPF will play a pivotal role in overcoming the main challenges in renewable fuel production: quality and quantity.

We aim to offer reliable, traceable, sustainable products from supplier to end user, ensuring availability and flexibility for our customers' increasing demands for biofuels.

Where innovation
meets opportunity

Greenstock Pretreatment Facility will offer two separate production lines: a 100 kT/y line primarily focused on the most challenging renewable feedstocks (including AF cat1 and POME) and a 300 kT/y line for refining products like UCO and AF cat3.

GPF's  planned location at VTTI Amsterdam (ETA) offers unique advantages to support your most complex business challenges. We will be focusing on feedstock refining, in-house quality control, storage services, blending, logistics and handling, and sustainability services to maximise the green value of our clients' renewable feedstocks and ultimately, your biofuels.

Exploring Our Two Lines of Innovation

Deep cleaning of waste feedstocks

for quality, ready-to-use renewable feedstocks.

Two production lines

offering a unique degree of flexibility and segregation.

Handling the most complex and challenging feedstocks

for the fuels of the future.

Full integration

with logistical, quality control and sustainability services.

2 state-of-the-art processing lines

The new facility will feature two independent processing lines utilizing cutting-edge refining technology from BDI BioEnergy International, a leading developer with extensive expertise. The  facility will also have a storage capacity of 70,000 to 80,000 m³.
