The Greenstock Pretreatment Facility project
Greenstock Pretreatment Facility (GPF) aims to become Europe’s leading independent pretreatment plant for renewable feedstocks, converting bio waste and residues into high-quality feedstocks for renewable fuels such as Renewable Diesel (HVO) and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
By combining pretreatment, quality and sustainability control with onsite storage, blending and logistics, GPF is a one-stop shop that helps customers increase efficiency and time to market. The facility will be located at the VTTI Amsterdam terminal (ETA), with commissioning estimated to start in 2029. GPF is a joint venture between VTTI and Connex, united in supporting the energy transition towards net zero.
Two energizing partners
Operating independently, GPF is a joint venture of VTTI and Connex. The pretreatment facility combines market and technology capabilities of Connex with the energy infrastructure, logistics, and storage experience of VTTI. Together, they offer accessible and full-scale pretreatment services.
