Greenstock Pretreatment Facility (GPF) intends to be one of the largest independent renewable feedstock pretreatment plants in Europe.
At the facility, renewable feedstocks will be converted into usable feedstock for the eventual production of biofuels such as HVO/HEFA and SAF. GPF will offer reliable, traceable, sustainable products, ensuring availability and flexibility for customers to be able to address increasing biofuel demand.
GPF has a unique location where refining, blending, storage, logistics, and analysis merge, delivering the best possible biobased molecules for the renewable fuels of the future. The facility will be located at VTTI Amsterdam (ETA), and commissioning is estimated to start in the first quarter of 2027.
Operating independently, GPF is a joint venture of VTTI and Connex. The pretreatment facility combines market and technology capabilities of Connex with the energy infrastructure, logistics, and storage experience of VTTI. Together, they offer accessible and full-scale pretreatment services.
